Raised a west coast girl, Darleen has lived on the east coast for the last 20 years. She has made her home in Connecticut for 15 of those years, having lived in Norwalk, Stamford and currently residing in Darien. After working for a major New York City fashion company as an account executive, Darleen started a lifestyle website, which has been recognized by Apartment Therapy, Domino, Style Me Pretty and in print publications such as Country Farmhouse Sampler and The Knot. Along with an eye for interior design, she has expertise in digital marketing as well as home renovations, which she frequently shares with her audience. Darleen is enthusiastically dedicated to providing the utmost professional service to her clients. Darleen has four children who are students in the Darien school system. She is an active parent with Darien High School, Middlesex Middle School and Hindley Elementary. Her children are involved in Darien sports groups, gymnastics, music and arts programs in the community.

Personal Interests

Darleen is the Creative Director and Content Creator for Darling Darleen.com . She writes about home renovations, interior design and DIY projects. Many of projects have been featured nationally. When she has a spare moment, Darleen loves to spend time with her adventurous family, who enjoys the outdoors. You can find them either hiking, camping, skiing, fishing or kayaking around the Long Island Sound! One of the reasons why Darleen and her family loves Darien is the beach community it provides.
